Android In development
The Android project includes local contact lookup and developer call-screening code. It has not been compiled or tested on a phone. No installable app is available yet.
PottsMeA LITTLE LESS NOISE. A LOT MORE YOU.
Your address book sets the guest list.
One simple switch puts you in control.
An interactive concept. No calls or texts are blocked by this website.

YOUR PHONE, YOUR CIRCLE
Your contacts are on the list.
A SMALL SWITCH. A SIMPLE IDEA.
PottsMe is being designed around the contacts already saved on your phone. No second address book. No list to maintain twice.
The intended mode allows saved numbers and restricts unknown ones, subject to device support and permissions.
Turn the switch off when you’re expecting a new caller. Your phone’s other blocking settings still apply.
TAKE THE IDEA FOR A SPIN
Try sample calls and texts below. These are fictional contacts; this page cannot read your address book or change your phone settings.
Saved contacts would be allowed.
Demo only — protection is not active.
Change the sample list to see access update.
Choose a caller or sender, then run an example.
A demonstration of the intended rule. Calls and texts from saved numbers would be allowed in Private mode. This website does not access your contacts or control your phone. Android call-screening code is in development; text filtering is not implemented.
BUILT HONESTLY, FROM DAY ONE
We’re starting with an Android development foundation. Support will depend on the phone, permissions, carrier and type of message.
The Android project includes local contact lookup and developer call-screening code. It has not been compiled or tested on a phone. No installable app is available yet.
Apple limits third-party control over calls and messages. This concept does not promise complete iPhone or iMessage blocking.
Android SMS filtering needs a separate messaging implementation. RCS, iMessage and messages in other apps are not supported by this preview.
GOOD QUESTIONS
No. The intended app uses your existing phone contacts with your permission. Adding or removing a saved number would update access automatically.
The planned Android app will ask for permission to read the address book already on your phone. No upload or second contact list is intended. Call screening will require a separate system permission, and SMS support may require choosing PottsMe as your default messaging app.
No. This is an interactive demonstration. A website cannot enforce contact-only access to your cellular calls or messages. A tested native app is required.
A strict contact-only rule can restrict legitimate communication from unsaved numbers too. Public mode is intended to let you temporarily open access. There is no planned emergency-service exception. Messaging support and phone compatibility must be validated before launch.
No. A saved number is not proof of identity. Caller ID can be spoofed and trusted accounts can be compromised. PottsMe should never be described as a guarantee against every scam.
POTS is short for “Plain Old Telephone Service.” PottsMe gives that familiar idea a personal twist — with two t’s and a home at pottsme.com.
This preview has no signup form, payment form, analytics or advertising scripts. Demo choices exist only in the page’s memory and reset when you reload. It does not access phone contacts. The hosting provider may retain ordinary access logs. A full service privacy policy is required before launch.
